Upgrade to Kingston Heath Soccer Complex
In May 2009 Kingston Council received a grant from the Federal Government of $2.9 million for a major upgrade of Kingston Heath Soccer Complex. Coupled with $300,000 from the council the project will include:
- 50 new parking places (to be completed end of 2009)
- Under ground water tanks for water harvesting (to be completed end of 2009)
- 2 new change rooms and kiosk (to be completed by end of February 2010)
- Spectator cover on ground 1 (to be completed by end of February 2010)
- 2 new synthetic pitches of a FIFA 2 star standard (to be completed by end of April 2010)
- 2 new electronic score boards (to be completed by end of April 2010)
- 2 new coaches boxes (to be completed by end of April 2010)
- Improved lighting on grounds 2 and 3 (to be completed by end of April 2010)
- Face lift of interior of pavilion include re-painting and installation of heating and cooling system (to be completed by end of April 2010)
